Frequently asked
Is the e-signature legally binding?
Electronic signatures are recognized under the U.S. ESIGN Act and state UETA laws when the signer consents and the record is retained; the portal captures the consent, the signer identity, timestamp and IP and stores the signed PDF. Consult your own attorney for your agreement's wording.
