What is Dumpster Rental HQ?
Dumpster Rental HQ is all-in-one software for roll-off dumpster rental and junk removal companies: one-screen order booking with live pricing, a drag-and-drop dispatch board with route optimization, a driver app, a customer portal with online booking and e-signature, invoicing and card payments, container tracking, and 37 built-in reports.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $149/month for owner-operators (up to 2 trucks), $299/month for growing fleets (up to 6 trucks) and $499/month for unlimited trucks and users. Every plan begins with a free 14-day trial of every feature, no credit card required.
Is there a driver app?
Yes, for iOS and Android. Drivers see their stops in order, navigate, capture delivery, pickup and dump-ticket photos, scan containers, add fuel and yard tasks, and — if you allow it — quote and book new orders from the truck.
Can customers book online?
Yes. The customer portal books with the same pricing engine and availability your office uses, collects e-signatures on your rental agreement and takes card payments through your own Stripe account.
Does it work for permanent placements and junk removal?
Both are modules on the Pro and Fleet plans. Permanent placements create recurring plans per container with scheduled swaps and recurring invoices. Junk removal adds per-load, per-yard or hourly pricing on the same dispatch board.
How long does setup take?
Most companies book their first real order the same day. Add your containers in bulk, set a base rate per size, connect Stripe, and you are dispatching. We will import your customer list from CSV for you during the trial.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. The 14-day trial includes every feature with no card. Pick a plan when you are ready; if you do nothing, the account simply pauses and your data is kept.
What counts as a truck or a user?
A truck is any vehicle you dispatch to — roll-off truck, hook-lift, or a pickup with a dump trailer. A user is a login for a staff member; drivers count. Customer portal logins are unlimited and free on every plan.
What happens if I hit a limit?
You get a heads-up in the app and can upgrade in one click. We never lock you out of your data or block a customer from booking because you added a 41st container.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next billing date. Cancel from Settings › Plan and export everything to CSV.
Are there per-order or transaction fees?
No platform fees. Card payments are processed through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rates, and you can pass a card surcharge to customers if your state allows it.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
Yes — contact us for annual pricing, and for multi-company or franchise pricing on Fleet.
Do you migrate my data?
We import your customer list from CSV during the trial at no charge, and we can import open orders and containers from most other systems on Pro and Fleet.
Which devices does it run on?
The web app runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone. The driver app is on iOS and Android.
Can I use it for hook-lift trucks and dump trailers?
Yes. Trucks are any vehicle you dispatch, and containers can be roll-off cans, hook-lift bins or dump trailers with their own sizes and rates.
How is my data protected?
Each company's data is isolated with row-level security in a managed Postgres database, backed up daily, with encrypted connections everywhere. Admins can require two-factor authentication. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do you have an API?
Yes, on Pro and Fleet: per-company API keys, outbound webhooks on order and payment events, and an inbound webhook for leads and orders.
Can drivers collect payment?
If you switch it on in Driver rules. Drivers can then take card payments via a pay link or record cash and check at the stop.
What about sales tax in multiple counties?
Tax rates live on Pricing Studio territory templates matched by ZIP or county, so the right rate is applied per delivery address. The Sales tax report breaks it out by zone.
Can I try it with my real data?
Yes. Bulk-add your containers, set your rates and book real orders during the trial. If you subscribe, you keep going; if not, we delete it on request.
